Karen Sue Sneed, 61, of Bonnie, died at 9:45 a.m. Jan. 26, 2007, at her home.

She was born in Jefferson County on Nov. 29, 1945, to Faral and Lois (Melton) Martin.

On Nov. 16, 1963, in Franklin County she married Ralph Sneed. He survives her.

Mrs. Sneed was a member of the Bonnie United Methodist Church and attended the Bakerville Free Will Baptist Church. She was a beautician.

Mrs. Sneedis survived by her husband, Ralph Sneed of Bonnie; daughter Melinda Clinton and husband Wayne of Ina; granddaughters Page Clinton andShaylee Clinton; sister Brenda Goodman of Bonnie; brothers Clifford Martinand wife Maxine of Bonnie, and Eugene Martin and wife Myrna of Opdyke;mother-in-law Lova King of Mt. Vernon; and several nieces.

She was preceded in death by her parents and son Gordon Wayne Sneed.

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. today at Johnston Funeral Home in Ina. The Rev. Russell Wolfe will officiate. Burial will be at Kirk Cemetery in Ina.
