BONNIE - Ralph G. Sneed, 66, died Saturday morning, Feb. 21, 2009, in Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 24, 2009, in Johnston Funeral Home in Ina, with Brother Brad Ryan officiating. Burial will be in Kirk Cemetery in Ina. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mr. Sneed was a pipe fitter with Local 551 for 35 years.

He was born July 6, 1942, in Whittington to Herman and Lova (McCann) Sneed.

He married Karen Martin on Nov. 16, 1963, in Franklin County.

Survivors include one daughter, Melinda Clinton and husband, Wayne, of Ina; two granddaughters, Page Clinton and Shaylee Clinton; one brother, Leonard Sneed and wife, Barbara, of Grantsburg; one sister, Eugenia Schwartz of Mount Vernon; two aunts, Margaret Grimes and Lulabell Smith and husband, Marion, all of Carthage, Mo.; sisters-in-law, Brenda Goodman of Bonnie and Myrna Martin of Opdyke; brother-in-law, Clifford Martin and wife, Maxine, of Bonnie; cousins; nieces and nephews; and a special friend, Roseann Pace.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Karen; son, Gordon Wayne Sneed; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Lois and Faral Martin; and brother-in-law, Eugene Martin.
