Molly Caroline Standerfer, 91, of Mt. Vernon died 8:20 p.m. July 20, 2005, at Casey Care Center in Mt. Vernon. She was a homemaker.

Mrs. Standerfer was born July 3, 1914, in Hamilton County to Thomas M. and Loe (Swem) Scrivner.

She married Harold Standerfer June 10, 1934, in Mt. Vernon; he survives.

Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Saturday at Hughey Funeral Home in Mt. Vernon. The Rev. Everett Lemay will officiate. Burial will follow at Bethel Memorial Cemetery. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Hughey Funeral Home in Mt. Vernon.

Mrs. Standerfer is survived by her husband, Harold Standerfer of Mt. Vernon; a son, Jerry T. Standerfer and wife Ada of Mt. Vernon; grandchildren Cynthia Fleri of Bloomington, Thomas Standerfer of Mt. Vernon and Roger Standerfer and wife Joanne of Mt. Vernon; three great-grandchildren, Sarah Standerfer of Mt. Vernon, Zachary Standerfer of Mt. V

ernon and Jessica Felkner of Bloomington; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother.

Mrs. Standerfer was the oldest living member of Camp Ground Baptist Church. She had been a member since 1928. She was also a member of the Neighborhood Club; she really enjoyed fellowship with the Ladies in the Neighborhood.
