WALTONVILLE -- Annabelle Stonecipher, 78, died at 8:38 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 22, 2004, at Good Samaritan Regional Hospital in Mount Vernon.

She was born to John and Nancy (Taylor) Hammond on Feb. 26, 1926, in Waltonville.

She married Bert Stonecipher and in January 1987 he preceded her in death.

She was a homemaker and a Protestant.

Survivors include one son, John Ace Stonecipher of Waltonville; and one brother, Tom Leroy Hammond and wife Jean of Deltona, Fla.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.

Services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 24 in Brick Cemetery in rural Ashley and those attending the service are requested to go directly to the cemetery. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today, Sept. 23, at Newell Funeral Home in Waltonville.
