George Stonecipher
George Stonecipher, one of the oldest residents of the county, died at his home near Zion church in Field township, on Wednesday, after a long illness. He was over 80 years of age, and one of the pioneers of Jefferson county. Some months ago he was stricken with paralysis and never fully recovered from its effects. The funeral took place yesterday, with interment at Hopewell Cemetery.
