Wilma Irene STONESYPHER, 72, a former resident of Mt. Vernon and late of Arlington, Texas, died Monday at Arlington Memorial Hospital in Arlington, Texas.

She was born Aug. 5, 1913, in Mt. Vernon, a daughter of Walter and Ethel (Arnold) Hyde.

On Nov. 1, 1930, in Mt. Vernon, she married Byron Stonesypher, who preceded her in death.

She is survived by one son, John R. Stonesypher of Arlington, Texas. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Melvin Hyde.

In accord with her wishes, Mrs. Stonesypher was cremated and her ashes will be buried at Hopewell Cemetery in Jefferson County. The Hughey Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

She retired in 1982 after working as business manager at Southern Illinois Clinic for 20 years.
