Rites Sunday For Rynd L. Strattan

Funeral services for Rynd Lawder Strattan were held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday at Myers Chapel with Dr. Don Crocker officiating. Burial was in Oakwood cemetery.

Mr. Stratton, 56, of St. Louis, well known former Mt. Vernon merchant, died Friday morning in Jewish Hospital at St. Louis.

He was born Jan. 3, 1908 in this city, the son of Keith and Jessie (Adams) Strattan.

On Sept. 25, 1936, he was married to Loretta Leonard, who survives. He is also survived by his mother, Mrs. Keith T. Strattan of Mt. Vernon; and a sister Mrs Lavina Laird of Montpelier, Vermont.

Mr. Stratton resided at 7 Maryland Plaza, St. Louis. His death was sudden. He had visited in Mt. Vernon in the past week.
