Alexander Stull
Alexander "Eck" STULL, a retired Mt. Vernon businessman and former employee of the car shops, died at 8:45 last night at the Setzekorn Nursing Home. Mr. Stull, who was known as "Eck" by his friends here, was 93 years, 2 months and 19 days of age. Many years ago Mr. Stull operated a livery stable here. Later he worked at the Mt. Vernon car shops and was at one time a member of the city council. Funeral services will be held Thursday at Pulley-Gutzler Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Robert FREYTAG will officiate and burial will be in Oakwood cemetery. Mr. Stull was born September 21, 1869 in Hamilton county, the son of William and Margaret (ROSS) Stull. He was married to Mary YEARWOOD, who preceded him in death in 1951. Mr. Stull was a member of the First Presbyterian church. He is survived by one son, Ray Bill Stull, of Union Grove, Wis.; one daughter, Mrs. Margaret SETZEKORN of Mt. Vernon; and two grandchildren.
