Paul E. Sulcer

Funeral services for the Reverend Paul E. Sulcer will be held Saturday at 1:00 p.m. at the Free Will Baptist church. The Reverend Oran Kersh and the Reverend Amon White will officiate and burial will be in Maple Hill cemetery at Sesser. Friends may call at the Fry Funeral Home at Waltonville after noon Friday. At noon Saturday the body will be taken to the church to lie in state until the funeral hour.

The Rev. Mr. Sulcer, pastor of the Free Will Baptish church, died suddenly from a heart attack yesterday morning.

Mr. Sulcer, a farmer and minister, served a number of churches in this area over a period of 20 years.

He was born April 3, 1911 in Franklin county, the son of Guy E. and Orlena Boswell Sulcer.

On September 2, 1927 he was married, at Pinckneyville, to Dorothy Dycus, who survives.

Other survivors include his mother and two children.
