Lucinda (Bumpus) Sullivan
Mrs. Lucinda SULLIVAN, a former resident of Mt. Vernon, died Sunday at 5:10 p.m. at the Pearce Hospital in Eldorado, IL. Her death occurred the day after her 84th birthday. Funeral services will be held at the Gospel Assembly Church in Eldorado at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday. The Rev. Roy GINGRICK will officiate and burial will be in Kirk Cemetery at Ina. Mrs. SULLIVAN was born in Warren County, KY, March 8, 1874, the daughter of William and Elizabeth (DUNCAN) BUMPUS. She was married to Roland SULLIVAN in 1898. He preceded her in death. She is survived by one daughter Mrs. Ina ROBERTSON of Missouri; 4 step-children, Nora BUMPUS, Berry SULLIVAN, Pearl MOORE and Claude SULLIVAN; 2 sisters, Mrs. Rilda Richard of Bonnie and Mrs. Hester WATSON of Kansas City; 1 brother, Allen BUMPUS of Elmier, Ark.; 35 grandchildren and great grandchildren.
