E. Nadine (Hayes) Talbert, 74, of St. Charles, Mo., died Feb. 15, 2005, at her residence.

She retired as church secretary at Fee Fee Baptist Church in Bridgeton, Mo., after 19 years of employment there.

Mrs. Talbert was born Nov. 28, 1930, in Mt. Vernon.

Funeral services will be held 7 p.m. Friday at First Baptist Church of Harvester, 4075 Highway 94 South in St. Charles, Mo. Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at the church. A second visitation is set for 1 p.m. Saturday in the chapel at Mt. Vernon Memorial Gardens, followed by a service at 2 p.m., then interment.

Mrs. Talbert is survived by her husband, Raymond Talbert of St. Charles, Mo.; a daughter, Deborah Swarts of Eldon, Mo.; a grandson, Clayton Swarts of St. Charles, Mo.; and a sister, Rose Lee Williams of Mt. Vernon.

She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Vincent Hayes; her mother, Letha Hayes; brothers Russell Hayes and Charles Hayes; and a sister, Blanche Hayes.

Mrs. Talbert was a member of First Baptist Church of Harvester, where she was active in the church library, nursery and Bible school.
