Anson J. Tankersly
Mrs. Keys received the sad and sudden announcement of the death of her brother, Anson J. Tankersly, at Alburquerque, New Mexico, last Wednesday evening. He died of pneumonia on the previous Monday and his relatives here had not even heard of his illness until they were informed of his death. He was well known here as a railroad man, having served the Louisville and Nashville road for many years. The remains were buried temporarily at Albuquerque. Anson was very popular among his acquaintances in this city and along the line of the L. & N. who will learn with regret of his death. He leaves two sisters living here, Mrs. Keys and Miss Tankersley, and two sisters living at distant points. He also has one brother, Nelson.
