Anna Pearl (Shelton) Temme
Anna P. Temme of Shiloh Twp, Dies Saturday Mrs. Anna Pearl Temme, of Shiloh township, died at 1;45 p.m. Saturday at Jefferson memorial hospital at the age of 64 years, one month and 29 days. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. at the First General Baptist church, Tenth and Perkins. The Rev. John Hurt will officiate and burial will be in Williams cemetery. The body will remain at the Pulley Funeral Home, where friends may call until noon Tuesday, when the body will be moved to the church to lie in state until the funeral hour. Mrs. Temme was born in Jefferson county January 30, 1891, the daughter of David and Emma (Rogers) Shelton. She was married July 28, 1950 to Albert Temme, who survives. She was a member of the First General Baptist church. Besides her husband, she is survived by one son, Doy Henley of Redondo Beach, Calif.; one daughter, Helen Ford of Chicago; four grandchildren; two brothers, Claude Shelton of Mt. Vernon and J.O. Shelton of Sandwich, Ill.; six half-brothers, Raymond, Floyd, Foster, Walter and Lester Shelton of Mt. Vernon and Harvey Sehlton of Bluford; one sister, Della DeMent of Mt. Vernon; and a half sister, Alice Fields of chicago. She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers.
