William Clyde Terrell
Clyde Terrell William Clyde Terrell, 89, 929 Fairfield Road, died at 10:45 p.m. Thursday in the Veterans Administration Hospital in Marion. He was a retired grocery store operator and real estate broker. Mr. Terrell was born in bluford, March 31, 1893, the son of William B. and Martha J. (Davis) Terrell. On April 23, 1923, in Mt. Vernon, he mararied Bessie Green, who died Oct. 14, 1975. He was a member of the East Side Baptist Church where funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday with the Rev. Rudolph Schlag officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Friends may call afater 6 p.m. Sunday and until 9 a.m. Monday at the Hughey Funeral Home and from 9:30 a.m. Monday until the funeral hour at the church. Survivors include two sons, Jim and Marvin Terrell, both of Mt. Vernon; one brother, Bryan Terrell of Albert Lea, Minn.; one sister, Mrs. Bertha Lowery of Salem, and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Terrell was an Army veteran of World War I. He was preceded in death by two brothers, one sister and his parents.
