Helen L. Tinsley, 94, of Dix died 1:05 p.m. Nov. 27, 2004, at Mt. Vernon Care Facility in Mt. Vernon. She was a homemaker.

Mrs. Tinsley was born July 31, 1910, in Bement to Pasco and Lelia (High) Price.

She married Herbert Tinsley Oct. 10, 1928, in Mt. Vernon; he preceded her in death Feb. 28, 1985.

Graveside services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday at Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Jonathan Schnautz will officiate. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Osborn Funeral Home in Dix.

Mrs. Tinsley is survived by daughters Ramona Kelley and husband Roy of Mt. Vernon and Donna Turner of Mt. Vernon; grandchildren Steven Kelley of St. Louis, Kevin Kelley and wife Darla of Mt. Vernon, Clint Turner and wife Sonja of St. Louis and April Gaither and husband Brian of St. Louis; great-grandchildren Jennifer Gaither, Ryan Kelley, Lydia Kelley and Savana Turner; and a sister, Florence Sanders of Alliance, Neb.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and a son-in-law, Loren Turner.

Mrs. Tinsley was of the Christian faith. She attended Boyd Grade School.
