Hallie E. Todd, 84, of 313 N. 4th St. died at 1:40 pm Wednesday at the Mt. Vernon Care Facility.

She was born in White County on Sept. 1, 1895, the daughter of Hamilton and Lucy (Turner) Marlin.

On Oct. 6, 1923, in Mt. Vernon, she married Herbert D. Todd, who survives.

She was a member of the Epworth United Methodist Church where she taught a Sunday school class for many years.

Graveside services will be held at 10:30 am Saturday at Hopewell Cemetery with the Rev. David Morgan officiating. Friends may call after 6 pm Friday at the Hughey Funeral Home. Those attending the graveside service are asked to go directly to the cemetery.

Besides her husband, Herbert, Mrs. Todd is survived by two daughters, Mrs. William (Edith) Arensman of Mission, Texas, and Mrs. Joe W. (Lois) Bundy of Mt. Vernon; six grandchildren; one brother, Ted Marlin of Mt. Vernon; and one sister, Mrs. Ethel Hering of San Diego Calif.

She was preceded in death by one son, Charles; one sister and her parents.
