Earlean G. Tolley, 86, of Mt. Vernon died 9:30 am Sept. 29, 2005, at St. Mary's Good Samaritan Hospital in Mt. Vernon.

She was a seamstress in her home for over 15 years.

Mrs. Tolley was born May 24, 1919, in Wayne County to Earl and Ora (foutch) Shrum.

She married Olin Albert Tolley May 31, 1941, in St. Charles; he preceded her in death Dec. 6, 1976.

Graveside services will be held 1:30 pm Saturday at Laird Cemetery in Jefferson County. Elbert Tolley will officiate.

No public visitation will be held.

Mrs. Tolley is survived by two sons, Marvin Richardson of Mt. Vernon and Jery Tolley of Effingham; a daughter, Linda Mullinax, and husband Charles ofo Carmel, Ind.; 11 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; three great-great-great-grandchildren; and a nephew.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; two brothers; and a daughter-in-law, Thelma Sue Richardson.
