Eudel F. Tucker, 76, Dahlgren, died 3:49 p.m. April 26, 1991, at Good Samaritan Regional Health Center.

Mr. Tucker was a kennel operator and trainer until retirement.

He was born Oct. 2, 1914, in Belle Rive, a son of James A. and Clarissa (Hampton) Tucker. Feb. 6, 1937, he married Phyllis R. McPherson, who survives.

Services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Gholson Funeral Home in Dahlgren with the Rev. Gene Auxier officiating. Burial will follow in Sugar Camp Cemetery near Belle Rive.

Friends may call 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

In addition to his wife, Mr. Tucker is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Marvin (Donna Sue) Wilkerson of Dahlgren, Mrs. William (Roberta June) Eaton of Collinsville and Mrs. Gene (Carole Ann) Richards of Belle Rive; one daughter-in-law, Barbara Tucker of McLeansboro; two brothers, James A. Tucker of Mt. Vernon and Donald Tucker of Dahlgren; two sisters, Mrs. Jessie Birkhead of Mt. Vernon and Mrs. Daphne Auxier of Woodlawn; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Mr. Tucker was a Protestant. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Belle Rive.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Vera Richardson; one son, Eudel Tucker Jr.; two infant daughters and one granddaughter.
