Nathan E. Turner Retired Minister, Dies at Age 80 Nathan Eugene Turner, a retired minister, died at 6:45 p.m. yesterday at his home on RFD 1-A in Dodds township. His age was 80 years, nine months and 15 days. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2:00 p.m. at Myers Chapel with the Rev. Joe Harmon officiating, and burial will be in Hopewell cemetery. The body will remain at Myers Chapel, where friends may call at any time after 10 a.m. Wednesday. Mr. Turner was born December 10, 1869 in Wayne county, the son of William and Polly (Feather) Turner. In 1890 he was married, in Fairfield, to Brunette Ray, who survives. Mr. Turner was a member of the Church of God. Besides his wife, he is survived by two sons, Dana and Orval Turner of Mt. Vernon; two daughters, Mrs. Mary Bailey of Wayne City and Mrs. Grace Graziani of Tilden, Ill.; two brothers, Chris and William Turner of Commerce, Okla.; nine grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
