Sister of Mt. V. Resident Dies Mrs. Fannie Turpin, sister of Mrs. F. E. Thatcher of the Fairfield Road died yesterday afternoon at her home in Olney, Ill. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday in Olney.
Source: Mt. Vernon Register News Death of Mrs. Frank Turpin, 78 Mrs. Minnie Frances Turpin, 78, passed away last night at her home at 127 East Lafayette street. She had resided in Olney for 32 years. She is survived by the following children: Mrs. Gale Pigg of Flora, Glen Turpin of Chicago Heights, Mrs. Frank Hockman of Conway, Ark., Mrs. Harry Fessel and Burl Turpin, both of Olney, and a foster son, Staff Sergaent Loenard M. Lucas, U.S. Air Corps, stationed at Pasadena, TExas; two brothers, Edward and Charles Smith, both of Grayville; one sister, Mrs. Floyd Thatcher of Mt. Vernon; 13 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Her husband Frank, passed away on February 22, 1939. Funeral services will be held on Sunday at 2:00 pm at the Schaub Funeral Home. Interment will be in Maple Dale Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home.
