Elizabeth (Osborne) Vance
Mrs. E. B. DALBY has received word from Bonne Terre, Mo., of the death of her mother, Mrs. Elizabeth VANCE, who died at that place May 9, aged about 63 years. Mrs. VANCE was the daughter of Philip OSBORNE, an old pioneer of this county, where she was married to Rev. Thomas VANCE, and after living in this county for years, where they were well known and respected, they removed to Missouri, where Mr. VANCE died in 1882. Deceased was the mother of six children----four sons and two daughters, all living as follows: Josephine, wife of E. B. DALBY of this county; and Dicy, wife of George BARNES and John James, Thomas and A. P. VANCE, postmaster of Ironton, all of Missouri. Deceased was buried in the Odd Fellows Cemetery at Farmington, Mo. *Note* Submitter has death date as May 9, 1896
