Glen Ray Wall, 86, of Mt. Vernon, died 11:25 p.m. Sunday, June 3, 2012, at Mt. Vernon Health Care Center.

He was born Monday, Aug. 31, 1925, in Mt. Vernon, son of Vickery and Nata (Peterson) Wall.

He married Eloise Estes on April 26, 1949, in Mt. Vernon.

Glen was the owner and operator of Wall’s TV Repair and a member of Epworth United Methodist Church in Mt. Vernon. He was a Hamm Radio operator for W9TZB.

He is survived by his wife, Eloise Wall of Mt. Vernon; daughters, Sally Lisenby and husband Kevin of Mt. Vernon and Karen Lyday and husband Larry of Mt. Vernon; grandson, Eric Lyday and fiancée Adrienne Skidmore of Mt. Vernon; and granddaughter, Jaylee Lisenby of Mt. Vernon.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Marvin Wall; and sister, Loretta Brady.

Graveside service will be head 2 p.m. Thursday at Hopewell Cemetery in Mt. Vernon with the Rev. Bud Storey and the Rev. Jay Krumeich officiating. Interment will be at Hopewell Cemetery in Mt. Vernon. A flag presentation service will be conducted at the cemetery by members of the American Legion Post 141. Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Hughey Funeral Home in Mt. Vernon.
