Orval Theodore Wallace
Orval T. Wallace DIes at Age 62; Funeral Tuesday Orval Theodore Wallace died at 5:45 o'clock Sunday morning at Jefferson County Memroial Hospital at the age of 52 years, ten months and 23 days. Mr. Wallace, a resident of Christopher for the past five years, lived most of his lifetime in Mt. Vernon and Jefferson county. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 10:30 am at Myers Chapel with the Rev. Bird Green officiating, and burial will be in Bethel Memorial cemetery. The body will remain at Myers Chapel, where friends may call at any time until the funeral hour. Mr. Wallace was born March 25, 1888 in Jefferson county, the son of William and Eugenia (Bumpus) Wallace. He was a coal mine machinist. He was married to Ethel Smith, who survivies. Besides his wife, he is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Edna R. Hughey of Bonnie; a sister, Mrs. Opal Mace of Opdyke; and two grandsons.
