Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Myers Chapel for Mrs. Jessie Mabel Walling, a former resident of Jefferson county.The Rev. John Hurt will officiate and burial will be in Hopewell Cemetery. The body will remain at Myers Chapel, where friends may call at any time after 6:00 p.m. today.

Mrs. Walling, who resided at 70 Capital Hill Drive in St. Louis, died at 6:00 Monday at Jewish Hospital there. She was 72 years, eight months and eight day of age.

Mrs. Walling was born August 15, 1883 in Louisiana, Mo., the daughter of Peter and Nancy Cole.

She was married to Jessie E. Walling, who preceded her in death February 8, 1955.

Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. May Parker and Mrs. Mabel Parker of St. Louis, Mo., and Mrs. Mildred Sinks of Tarzana, Calif., and one sister, Mrs. Mary Bandy of Peoria, Ill.
