Mrs. Emma Warren, of Mt. Vernon, died at 5:15 p.m. Sunday at the age of 79 years, six months and 16 days.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. at the East Salem Baptist church, with the Rev. Bird Green officiating, and burial will be in East Salem cemetery. The body will remain at the Pulley Funeral Home, where friends may call at any time until the funeral hour.

Mrs. Warren was born Decmeber 9, 1870 in Jefferson county, the daughter of William C. and Marie (Carpenter) Henry.

She was married October 9, 1892 in Jefferson county, to Thomas Jefferson Warren, who preceded her in death in 1942.

She is survived by four sisters, Mrs. Augustus Gaddy and Mrs. Cora Eckert of Mt. Vernon, Mrs. Alice Hunt of Bluford and Mrs. Pearl Boyd of Centralia.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brotehrs and four sisters. A sister, Mrs. Nellie Winters of Phoenix, Arizona, died a week ago.
