Lucille Warren, 94, of Greenview, died on Friday, Jan. 12, 2007, at 5:15 a.m. at her residence.

She was born on March 27, 1912, in Mt. Vernon, daughter to Augustus and Viola (Tackett) Burke.

She married Jim Tom Warren on Feb. 7, 1935, in Mt. Vernon, and he preceded her in death on Dec. 2, 1998.

Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday at First Baptist Church in Greenview with Pastor Greg Shambo officiating. Visitation will occur one hour prior to the services. Additional funeral services will also be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Dix United Methodist Church with visitation also occurring one hour prior to the funeral services. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Mt. Vernon.

Mrs. Warren was a homemaker. She was a member of Dix United Methodist Church, former member of Homemakers Extension and a 4-H leader in Jefferson County.

Mrs. Warren is survived by two daughters, Sarah Jane and husband Robert Swaar of Greenview and Janet Mustread of Astoria; a sister, Juanita Smith of Mt. Vernon; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a son, John Robert Warren, three brothers, two sisters and four grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to Dix United Methodist Church or the First Baptist Church of Greenview.
