Minnie (Oliver) Williams Taylor Weatherford

Mrs. Minnie Taylor Weatherford Dies; Funeral on Friday

Mrs. Minnie Taylor Weatherford died at 7:30 o'clock last night at her home at 11th and George streets. Her age was 70 years, one month and 21 days.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 1:30 pm at Myers Chapel, with the Rev. Bird Green offiiciating, and burial will be in Oakwood cemetery.

The body will remain at Myers Chapel, where friends may call at any time until the funeral hour.

Mrs. Weatherford was born December 30, 1880 in White county, Illinois, the daughter of William and Margaret (PIerce) Oliver.

She had been a resident of Mt. Vernon for the past 33 years.

Surviving are one son, John Williams of Mt. Vernon; one daughter, Mrs. Juanita Rich of Mt. Vernon; a half-brother, Joe Winemiller of Enfield; 12 grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
