Jimmie Carl Webb, 61, of Mt. Vernon died 3:40 p.m. Nov. 2, 2004, at his home. He was disabled.

Mr. Webb was born Sept. 10, 1943, in Mt. Vernon to Carl and Doris (Whobrey) Webb.

Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Friday at Hughey Funeral Home in Mt. Vernon. The Revs. Merle Fullerton and Larry Jones will officiate. Burial will follow at Mt. Vernon Memorial Gardens. Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Hughey Funeral Home in Mt. Vernon.

Mr. Webb is survived by his mother, Doris Webb of Mt. Vernon; a brother, David Webb of Mt. Vernon; sisters Carla Davis of Mt. Vernon, Carol Jean Martin of Mt. Vernon and Becky Hahn and husband Brent of Mt. Vernon; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father and a sister-in-law, Judy Webb.

Mr. Webb attended Jacksonville School for the Deaf.
