Ray Webb of RFD 7, Mt. Vernon, died at 8:45 a.m. today at Good Samaritan Hospital where he had been a patient for the past four days. He was 77 years, four months and eight days old.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday at Myers Chapel with the Rev. Bird Green officiating. Burial will be in Harmony Cemetery. The body will lie in state at Myers Chapel where friends may call after 2:00 p.m. tomorrow.

Mr. Webb was born April 5, 1883, in Jefferson county, the son of William T. and Mary Estelle (Johnson) Webb.

He was married to Susy Della Chambliss, who preceded him in death on July 24 of this year.

Survivors include a brother, Charles Webb of Bluford; and several nieces and nephews.
