WOMAN WITH 93 DESCENDANTS DIES

Nebraska WELLS, who has 93 living descendants, died at 12:55 p.m. Tuesday, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Mina Williamson on Stanley Avenue.

She was the widow of Frank E. Wells who preceded her in death in 1922.

Mrs. Wells was 80 years, four months and two days of age.

She was born March 15, 1865 in Jefferson county, the daughter of Daniel and Sarah Hutchinson.

She was a member of the Bonnie Missionary Baptist church.

Funeral services will be held at South Hickory Hill church, Thursday at 3:30 p.m., and interment will be in the nearby cemetery.

Mrs. Wells is survived by five daughters, Mrs. Ivy Merriman of Waltonville, Mina Williamson, Louisa Brown and Dorothy Odle, all of Mt. Vernon, Floey Wilson of Bonnie; four sons, James Wells, Aven Wells of Bonnie and Ramey and Oval of Mt. Vernon. Forty-eight grandchildren, forty-four grandchildren (sic, great-grandchildren), and one great great grandchild also survive.

One son preceded her in death.

The body will lie in state at the Williamson home on Stanley Avenue.
