Samuel Newton WHISENHUNT, well known Spring Garden Twp. farmer, died at 6:25 o’clock this morning at his home following an illness of two years duration. His age was 74y2m1d.

Mr. WHISENHUNT had lived practically his entire life in Spring Garden Twp. and lived at the farm home, on which he died, for over a half a century.

He was a member of the Moores Prairie Baptist Church, having joined when a young man.

He is survived by his widow Amanda; 3 sons, Walter and Dexter of Bonnie, and Frank of Mt. Vernon; 10 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

The body was taken from Hawkins Funeral Home to the family home this evening. Funeral services will be held at 2 o’clock Thursday afternoon at Hungry Hill Church and burial will follow in Bethel Memorial Cemetery.
