Infant Smothers To Death in Bed

Gloria Jean, 16-day-old infant daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Isaac White, who reside three miles west of Ina, was found dead in bed between her parents at 6:30 a.m. today.

A Mt. Vernon physician, who was called to the family home, gave as his opinion that the child ahd smothered during the night. The parents reported that she was all right at 1:30 a.m.

She was born March 6 at Good Samaritan Hospital.
