MRS. W. B. WILLIAMS WIFE OF FORMER MT.V. MAYOR DIES

Relatives here were notified today of the death of Mrs. Nancy Williams, wife of W. B. Williams, a former Mt. Vernon mayor, which occurred at 9 a.m. today in Sanford, Florida. She was 74 years of age.

Mrs. Williams was born September 27, 1874, near Boyd, Illinois, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wesley Clark Herron.

She was a sister of the late Mrs. J. B.(Luella) Jarrell of Mt. Vernon. Mr. Williams, who is a brother of George D. Williams, Mt. Vernon real estate man, served two terms as mayor of Mt. Vernon.

In 1910 he and his family moved to Florida where they have resided since.

Surviving besides her husband are two sons, Roy and William Robert and daughter, Nellie Williams, all of Florida, and a sister, Olive Herron of St. Louis.
