Calvin C. Williams, 70, of Ina, passed away Thursday, My 14, 2011, in Jefferson County.

He was born Feb. 25, 1932, in Perryville, Mo., the son of Lonnie R. and Violet A. (Fowler) Williams.

He married Shirley M. Fitzgerrell on May 22, 1954, at New Hope Church.

Calvin is survived by his wife of 57 years and by three sons, Michael E. Williams of Spring Garden, Anthony R. Williams and wife Phyllis of Spring Garden and Dr. Alan D. Williams and wife Camille of Little Rock, Ark.; nine grandchildren, Bethany, Autumn, Daniel, David Williams and Chad, Amber Williams, Brandi Marlow and Madeleine, Brian Williams; nine great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Neoma Difani and husband Ben of Perryville, Mo., and Vida Yamnitz and husband Everett of Perryville, Mo.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a great-granddaughter, Marissa.

He was a retired farmer and served in the Air Force during the Korean War.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Sunday at the Johnston Funeral Home in Ina with Gale Hefner and Andrew Schlag officiating. Burial will be at Kirk Cemetery in Ina.

Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. today at Johnston Funeral Home in Ina.

For those who wish, memorials may be given to the Spring Garden Community Church and will be accepted at the funeral home.
