Enos Wilson Dies At Age 69; Rites Saturday Enos Wilson, 69, of 1017 Jones Street, collapsed and died suddenly late yesterday morning while working on the demolition of a building at Tenth and Perkins. He was rushed to Good Samaritan Hospital, where he was pronounced dead upon arrival. Coroner John Richardson said that death was apparentlly due to a heart attack. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2:00 p.m. at the Pilgrim Rest Baptist church. The Rev. D.W. Jackson will officiate and burial will be in Oakwood cemetery. The body will be taken from the Parker Funeral Home to the Pilgram Rest church, where friends may call between 7:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. Friday. Mr. Wilson was born December 17, 1897 in Huntington, Tenn., the son of Samuel B. and Ida (Utley) Wilson. A resident of Mt. Vernon for the past 51 years, he was a retired employee of the Mt. Vernon Waste Materials Co. Surviving are two sisters, Octavia Richardson and Myrtle Barker, both of Mt. Vernon, and one son, four daughters, two grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
