Herman Wilson of Elk Prairie township died at suddenly yesterday. He was 54 years and one day old.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. tommorrow at South Hickory Hill Church, with the Rev. Ace Summers officiating, and burial will be in the ajoining cemetery. The body will lie in state at the family home where friends may call after 3:00 p.m. today.

Mr. Wilson was born April 26, 1906 in McClellan township, the son of Homer and Effie (Wicks) Wilson.

In 1929 in Benton he married Velma Beckman who survives.

Other survivors include seven daughters Mrs. Imogene Pilson of Bonnie, Mrs. Mildred Russell of Bluford, Wanda, Judy, Janice, and Verla Wilson all at home; five sons Herman Wilson Jr., of Nason, Clyde Wilson of Mt. Vernon, Everett Wilson of Berwyn, Ill., David and Kenneth at home; a sister Mrs. Lela Hester of Bonnie; six brothers, Raymond Wilson of Belle Rive, Elisha, Melvin, Homer A., Hosie and Ogal Wilson all of Mt. Vernon and four grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one daughter.

Mr. Wilson was a farmer.
