SIX YEAR OLD GIRL DIES OF LOCKJAW AT HOME NEAR NASON

Juanita Joyce Wilson Died At Age 6

Juanita Joyce Wilson, six year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Wilson, died at 12:10 a.m. today at the home a mile southwest of Nason of lockjaw.

The little girl stuck a nail in her left foot about a week ago, Coroner Ben Roeder said, and the injury became infected, resulting in her death.

Funeral services will be held at two o’clock Wednesday afternoon at Hickory Hill church, conducted by Rev. Ace Summers of Mt. Vernon, and burial will follow in Hickory Hill cemetery.

The body was taken from Fry Funeral Home at Waltonville to the family home today, where friends may call at any time up to the funeral hour.

Coroner Ben Roeder was to conduct a brief inquiry in the death this afternoon
