Ethel Mary (Taylor) Wolfe
Ethel Mary WOLFE, 55, widow of A. B. WOLFE, died at her home on the Fairfield Road, one mile east of Mt. Vernon, today at 2:34 a.m. Funeral services will be held in Myers Chapel Wednesday at 3:30 p.m. Rev. R. B. GUTHRIE will conduct the services and burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery. The body will remain at Myers Chapel until the funeral hour. Mrs. WOLFE was born Ethel Mary TAYLOR, the daughter of William TAYLOR and Lucinda OLIVER TAYLOR, on June 12, 1885. She was married to A. B. WOLFE in 1900. Her husband died in 1935. She belonged to the Presbyterian Church of Mt. Vernon and was a member of the Ben Hur Lodge. Mrs. WOLFE is survived by one step-son, T. J. WOLFE of Indianapolis, Ind.; two brothers, Oscar TAYLOR, Granite City, Ill. and John TAYLOR, Fort Branch, Ind.; two sisters, Mrs. Helen NUSSBAUM, New York City and Mrs. Elsie COLIN, Granite City.
