John V. WOLVERTON, a retired Baptist Minister who has 54 living grandchildren, died at 11:25 a.m. Sunday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Fred HERTENSTEIN, 1105 Westcott. His age was 91 years, one month and 17 days.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. at Myers Chapel, with the Rev. Henry SHOCKLEY officiating, and burial will be in Kirk Cemetery. The body will remain at Myers Chapel, where friends may call.

Mr. WOLVERTON was born September 2, 1856 in Tennessee.

On February 22, 1882 he was married to Lucinda GOODMAN, who survives.

Besides his wife, he is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Louella WISEK of Chicago, Mrs. Amanda ROBERTSON of Pittsburg, Ill. and Mrs. Linnie HERTENSTEIN of Mt. Vernon, and 54 grandchildren.
