Mrs. Minnie Woodruff Dies At Convalescent Home 6 p.m. Friday

Mrs. Minnie Woodruff, 1101 Conger avenue, died yesterday at 6 p.m. in the convalescent home on south 15th street. She was 74 years, nine months and 17 days of age at the time of her death.

Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. in Myers' Chapel. The services will be conducted by the Rev. Clyde Waddell and burial will be in Oakwood cemetery. The body will lie in state in Myers' Chapel.

Mrs. Woodruff was born May 28, 1871 in Huntingsburg, Ind., the daughter of Daniel and .....etta (Wicks) Helverson.

She was married to Charles Woodruff. Her husband died Feb. 20, 1943.

She was a member of the Presbyterian church of McLeansboro.

She is survived by two brothers, Frank Helverson of Mount Vernon, and Ed Helverson of East Alton; one sister, Mrs. Ada Quinn of Mount Vernon.
