Fletcher James Yandell, 74, 331 S. Second St., died at 2:50 pm Monday in Good Samaritan Hospital.

He was a member of Teamsters Local No. 50 at Belleville and was a truck driver for construction companies.

Mr. Yandell was born in Jefferson County March 24, 1908, the son of Henry Morton and Nora (Johnson) Yandell.

On Dec. 20, 1938, in Henderson, Ky., he married Martha Lorene Harris, who survives.

Graveside service4s will be held at 1 pm Wednesday at Hopewell Cemetery with the Rev. Merle Fullerton officiating. Friends may call after 6 pm today and until 11 am on Wednesday at the Hughey Funeral Home. Those attending the services are asked to go directly to the cemetery.

In addition to his wife, survivors include one son, Jerry L. Yandell of Mt. Vernon; one daughter, Sharon M. Yandell of Centralia, and one grandson, Stephen M Yandell of Mt. Vernon.

Mr. Yandell was preceded in death by his parents and stepmother, Marie Jo. Yandell.
