Henry Morton Yandell
Henry Morton Yandell died at 2 am Christmas day at his home 101 East Castleton. He was a life time resident of Jefferson county. Funeral services will be held at Myers Chapel tomorrow at 1:30 with the Rev. Cyrus Maulding officiating and burial will take place at Hopewell Cemetery. Born in Field township, Mr. Yandell was the son of James T. and Elizabeth (King) Yandell. On January 25, 1915 he was married to Marie J. Behnken who survives. A son, Fletcher J. Yandell of Mt. Vernon, three brothers, L. L. Yandell, O. E. Yandell of Mt. Vernon, Dr. Harley Yandell of Phoenix, Ariz., two sisters, Mrs. Rosetta Frost of Mt. Vernon, Mary Staley of Normal and one grandchild also survive. He was first married to Nora Johnson who died May 4, 1914. Mr. Yandell was a farmer and resided in Field township until August of this year when he retired and moved to Mt. Vernon. The body will remain at Myers Chapel.
