Marie Johnanna Yandell, 78, died this morning at 7:15 o'clock in Good Samaritan Hospital, where she had been a patient for ten days. She was a resident of 331 south Second street.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 Sunday afternoon at Myers Chapel, with the Rev. Rolla Eller officiating. Burial will be in Hopewell Cemetery.The body will lie in state at Myers Chapel, where friends may call after three o'clock Saturday afternoon.

Mrs. Yandell was born in St. Louis, Mo., on September 18, 1880, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Behnken.

On December 25, 1944, she married H. Mort Yandell, who preceded her in death.

Mrs. Yandell was a Mt. Vernon resident for about fifty years.

Surviving are one step-son, Fletcher Yandell of Mt. Vernon and two grandchildren.
