Susan Valea Yarbrough, 26, of Port Orange, Fla., formerly of the Mt. Vernon and Centralia area, died 6:40 p.m. June 11, 1998, at her home.

She was employed by Nascote Industries in Centralia until failing health.

She was born Jan. 1, 1972 in Mt. Vernon, to Anna Gentles.

She was married to Kenny Yarbrough.

Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Monday at St. Mary's Cemetery in Mt. Vernon. the Rev. Melvin Vandeloo will officiate. Those attending graveside services on monday are asked to go directly to the cemetery. Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the Hughey Funeral Home.

Survivors include husband Kenny Yarbrough; mother and step-father Anna Warren and Leroy Warren of Port Orange, Fla., son, Nathan Bergman of Waltonville; brothers, Brad Warren and Paul Warren, both of Mt.Vernon; sisters Tina Schultz of Palm Coast, Fla., Linda Carpenter and husband Gene of Centralia, and Jeanelle Keys of Mt.Vernon; grandfather, Albert 'Red' Gentles of Mt.Vernon; and several cousins, aunts, and uncles in Mt.Vernon.

She was preceded in death by grandmother Alpha Gentles and step-brother Russell Warren.

She was a member St. Mary's Catholic Church in Mt. Vernon.

She attended Mt. Vernon Township High School, Rend Lake College and Kaskaskia College.
