Almeda M. (Lisenby) Yearwood
Mrs. Almeda M. YEARWOOD, of the Salem Road, died this morning at Jefferson County Hospital. Her age was 78 years and 20 days. Mrs. Yearwood was a lifetime resident of Jefferson County. She was bornFebruary 6, 1873 in Jefferson county the daughter of James A. and Flora (Short) Lisenby. She was married to John R. Yearwood who survives. Mrs. Yearwood was a member of the Park Avenue Baptist church. Besides her husband she is survived by two sons, Max A. and Robert H. Year- wood of Decatur; two daughters, Mrs. Flora B. Conder of Decatur and Mrs. Grace Loss of Walla Walla, Wash.; one brother, Arthur Lisenby of Mt. Vernon; two sisters, Mrs. R. W. King and Mrs. Calvin Humphrey of Mt. Vernon; eight grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. at Myers Chapel, with the Rev. Cyrus MAULDING officiating and burial will be in East Salem cemetery. Source: Mt.
