Mrs. Clara Yearwood died at 4:45 a.m. Sunday at her home, 2104 Richview Road, at the age of 81 years, 10 months and 20 days.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Pulley Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Everett Lemay officiating. Burial will be in New Shiloh Cemetery. The body will lie in state at the Pulley Funeral Home where friends may call after 4:00 p.m. today.

Mrs. Yearwood was born June 8, 1883 at Shawneetown, the daughter of William and Hannah (Spurlock) Dorris.

On Mar. 6, 1902 at Harrisburg, she was married to J. Ed Yearwood, who survives.

She is also survived by three sons, Charles, Walter and John Yearwood, all of Mt. Vernon; six daughters, Mrs. Mary Harmon and Mrs. Dorothy Isaacs, both of Roxana, Mrs. Betty Newell and Mrs. Fay Borah, both of Mt. Vernon, Mrs. Edith Gilbert of Panama City, Fla., and Mrs. Ethel Farmer of Evansville, Ind.; 24 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Yearwood was a member of the Park Avenue Baptist Church.
