Funeral services for "Uncle" Dick YEARWOOD, who died at 2:15 p.m. yesterday, as announced in the Register News, will be held at the First M E Church tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock, conducted by Rev. J.C. Kinison and the Rev. C.L. PETERSON. Burial will be at Oakwood.

His full name was Richard Aaron YEARWOOD, and he was the son of the late Robert YEARWOOD, well known in the earlier days of Mt. Vernon.

Mr. Yearwood was born near this city and his age was 89 years and 3 months.

His wife Martha Ann YEARWOOD, nee Stearns, died Feb. 15, just six days before he died.

Their married life covered a period of sixty-six years. The couple spent their entire lives in Mt. Vernon and vicinity.

The following named children survive: Mrs. W.H. MILLER, Drivers; Mrs. Nora SWISHER, Mt. Vernon; Mrs. Naomi REAVIS, East St. Louis; Frank YEARWOOD, Mrs. Lulu WILKERSON and Mrs. Mamie WARMAN, Mt. Vernon.

A daughter Lucy YEARWOOD died a few years ago.
