Samuel R YEARWOOD, aged 68 years old, an old time resident of this city, formerly Mt. Vernon, Ill., died at 7:40 this morning at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Lola Cobb, after an illness of some duration.

Short funeral services will be conducted at the residence tomorrow at 1:30, after which the body will be taken to Howell, Ind. where services will be conducted at 3 p.m. at the General Baptist Church. Burial will follow at the Oakhill Cemetery in Howell, Ind.

Mr. Yearwood is survived by his widow and the following children: Mrs. Cobb, Mrs. George Martz of Evansville; Mrs. Russel Wyttinbachof Princeton, Ind. and Walter Yearwood of Evansville.

For a numberof years he was a resident of this city, but moved from here to Howell, Ind., where he lived for sometime, after which he moved to Evansville, where he was residing at the time of his death.
