They had four children: two dying in childhood--Ralph and Meredith,
two living to old age--Fern and Ernie.

They are buried at Union Chapel Cemetery in Jefferson Co. IL.

John Holloway Obituary

One son, John, was born 27 September 1881 a few days after his father's death
so total children would be nine instead of eight as the obituary states.

Young John married Cordia Miller and settled in Malden, MO.
